I was very happy and surprised to hear that in different states and cities such as Tacoma, Pet Sitting was coming into style. There are two different types of ways you can do pet sitting: one consists of taking your dog or pet to a pet daycare and leaving him or her there to do different activities. Some of the activities that are done in pet daycares are training, exercise, socializing with other pets, and the staff will also take care of grooming your pet if you so desire. Some pet daycares go as far as giving your dog a massage, and they feed your pet the diet and food you indicate. Obviously there are different types of pet sitting daycares available and it will be necessary to go and check them out before putting your pet in one of them. These places also have requirements such as ensuring that the pets are vaccinated and are not aggressive, checking the pet’s medical records etc. Then there is also home pet sitting, which consists of a pet sitter going to your home and taking care of your pet there. The pet sitter makes sure to take the dog or pet out on his or her daily walks, feeds the pet, scoops up the poop, gives the dog(s) medications if it so requires etc. whether you decide to have someone come into your house or take your dog to a pet daycare depends entirely on your dog. Some dogs are simply not fit for pet daycares especially if they have socialization problems. However, home pet sitting can be a concern also for some owners who may not feel too sure about leaving the keys of their house with a stranger.
