As in many places California residents use pet boarding facilities as an option in the care of their pets. California is a beautiful place and there are big time dog lovers here. Although California is a place people like to come to relax, the truth is that most people in this area have full time day jobs meaning that not everyone has as much time as they would like to take care of their pets. I was talking to a pet parent the other day and she told me she resolved her work problem by putting her dog in a California pet boarding facility that came to her home and took care of the things she was not able to do during the day for her dog. The thing I thought was interesting was the support she got from her the boarding facility staff. This woman has problems with allergies and she told me that her pet sitter not only took care of her dog but also helped her out by giving her advice about how to relieve her allergies because of the dog (obviously this woman is a helpless dog lover). The pet sitter told her to keep everything in her house as clean and free dust of dander as possible and to use a damp cloth to dust and to vacuum rather than sweep as this stirs up less dust. As an allergy sufferer this information was very useful. He also suggested she use an air purifier in her house and to keep her dog out of her bedroom. Dogs should also get enough oil in their diets as some foods and supplements are specifically made to reduce dry skin and keep the amount of dander down. Interesting isn’t it? It’s nice that there are helpful California pet boarding facilities that are really interested in helping out.
