Fort Worth Pet Sitting
My dog started coughing when he got back home from our Fort Worth Pet Sitting day care. What was funny was that he started a week after he got back home so we took him to the veterinarian and he told us the dog had picked this cough up at the dog day care. It was a condition called tracheobronchitis, which is a contagious condition, and it is very similar to a common cold in humans, however it is not contagious to humans, thankfully. If your dog has any of the following symptoms it is possible he has this condition. The symptoms include a dry hacking cough, discharge from the nose and or eyes, lazy and lethargic behavior, and a loss of appetite. Our Fort Worth Pet Sitting day care was of course very concerned but we were told that it was a fairly normal thing for some dogs to go through. We were able to cure the dog by taking him to the veterinarian and getting him the necessary treatment. Obviously this type of thing discourages many pet parents from wanting to take their dogs back to a pet sitting day care since in the end it just causes worry and concern and costs you. But the good thing is that we had been previously told about the possibility of the dog picking up a cough by the Fort Worth Pet Sitting personnel and they and let us know that all of the dogs admitted into the place were vaccinated and up to date with their medical check ups. |
