Atlanta Pet Sitting
Probably just like in any other dog loving place, Atlanta Pet Sitting has become very popular. Something that I really enjoyed about the people working as pet sitters was their willingness to not only do their job but to also help me out as I was new to having a pet. Here are some things I learned about grooming a dog: Proper grooming is an important part of a pets care. You will need to make sure to brush your pet thoroughly every day, as it keeps their coat healthy and removes dirt, avoids tangling and keeps skin clear of infection.
Another thing my Atlanta Pet Sitting staff taught me was that a pets nails need to be trimmed around once per month with a clipper for your kind of pet. You will also want to have around a small bottle of blood clotting powder. Have your pet sit beside you, place a paw in your hand and slowly pull forward to you. Gradually shorten nail, stop before reaching the quick, which has nerves and blood vessels, it is just behind the part where the nail starts to curve downward.
Ears must be checked too as infections can be painful, and can lead to loss of hearing. The Atlanta Pet Sitting staff said I should check my dog’s ears 2 times per month; skin inside flaps should be pale pink. If there is any nasty odor or any red/brown/ black skin this is when you should visit the veterinarian. Moist a cotton ball with warm water, and clean the dogs ears by opening the canal and flaps gently. I am very thankful about having learned these things from good Atlanta Pet Sitting professionals as it assures me my pet is getting treated the way he should.
