WHAT I THINK ABOUT HORMONES

Hormones are nothing but a lucrative invention – for the manufacturers and distributors, that is! Every single one of those hormones interferes with the natural and delicate balance of the glandular system. I have seen so many health disasters and deaths as a result of the use of these hormones that I have always advised my clients to avoid them completely, in any of their presentations.

Hormones are especially dangerous for pregnant dogs. These dogs are often given these hormones with some really ridiculous reasons; for example, so that they can have a numerous litter (greedy breeder actually love the idea of getting 15 puppies in one litter although it's for sure that some of them are going to die at birth). Frequently, the result is monster-like puppies – some get to be abnormally big, which means a c-section birth is necessary, which, in turn, can lead to the mother's death. Hormones are also administered to stop the female dog's urge to mate, causing countless health problems, like glandular tumors, hair loss and even total alopecia. I repeat, avoid using hormones at all costs.
