Naturally Treating Dog Rabies
Thank God above that rabies is not such a big problem around the world although there are some places where there are greater numbers of infected animals than in other areas. Anyway, the symptoms of rabies are similar to those of the first stages of parvovirus; they are both related with water. Initially, there is an earnest desire for a lot of water yet at the same time the dog is frightened of the sight of water. A rabid dog will have foam in his mouth and make terrible screams, and he finds it impossible to quench his thirst. If anybody or anything is in his way, he will try to bite.
Treatment: Ironically, in most of the countries of the world where this disease exists, dog owners are not allowed to treat the disease by themselves when it is declared. No matter how much you might love your animal, it has to be immediately sacrificed by means of a lethal shot. Luckily, when I treated three rabid patients, I initially didn't know what they had; I thought it was some kind of poisoning. It wasn't until all the symptoms related to rabies appeared. But by that time, the animals were already on the road to being cured. In the end I was able to save those two German Shepherds. The other one I treated, an Afghan hound, hadn't been given a natural diet, and sad to say entered a critical state and had to be sacrificed.
