Naturally Treating Dog Paralysis This isn't a sequel of distemper, as paralysis, especially of the hind legs, often attacks young dogs and old dogs. The disease is caused by pressure on the nerve root of one the members, or of a group of muscles, or any other interference in the brain or spinal cord. All of these can either be caused by an accident, constipation or a hard blow or fall. It can also be caused by a serious worm infestation. A paralysis to the hind legs is usually a hereditary diseases and it is generalized in Daschunds and Pekinese dogs. Whatever the case, there have been excellent results following natural procedures. Actually, in hundreds of cases, many even "incurable" I have been able to see excellent results.Treatment: Give the animal freshly squeezed grape juice and sage leaf infusion. As an external treatment, make a mustard seed infusion – one teaspoon of mustard seed for one cup of boiling water. This mixture has to be applied, in massages, twice a day in the paralyzed areas. You can also use powdered mustard, in equal quantities. |
