Nervous Shock or Prostration
If a dog or cat suffers a shock due to serious wounds during a fight or car accident, do not give them any food for at least 24 hours: instead, give them a teaspoon of honey blended together with a teaspoon of brandy or red wine three times a day. After the 24/hour period, for one day, administer only liquid-based foods and the following day return to the normal diet. |
