Naturally Treating Dog Leishmaniosis

Leishmaniosis is a disease that presents sores resulting from a tropical infection by protozoa of the genus Leishmania which are spread by sandflies. This is THE worst disease a dog can get and it is the most difficult to treat. Any person whio has seen a dog in the final stages of this disease will never forget the horrible and pathetic vision. Sad to say, this disease is becoming more and more generalized nowadays. The cause is the global warming. The modern air, which is causing so much harm to all the world's inhabitants, as well as all the vehicles and factories convert the climate in an excellent ground for mosquitoes and flies to reproduce.

Treatment: Administer a lot of salt and seaweed in the dog's diet and give your dog a good amount of antiseptic vegetable pills which contain rosemary, eucalyptus and bell pepper. If you don't have the tablet, you can make your own preparation: a teaspoon of each of the following: wormwood, thyme, mint, honey and flour. Administer three doses a day.

In order to ward off the mosquitoes and flies that transmit the disease, you have to make the skin or fur of the animal unattractive. First, cleanse the body, and second, sprinkle a spicy powder all over the body of your dog. This powder can be made of eucalyptus, wormwood, cinnamon, ginger, among others. Be careful, though, that it doesn't enter the eyes.
