Blood in the Urine

Blood-streaked urine is generally caused by a purulent abscess in the kidney, caused in turn by something that might have hit the animal in the back (something very common in dogs).

Treatment: Give your dog liquids based on a strong potion of parsley, preferably German parsley, which has a thick dark root. Keep the dog on a barley diet and milk for a few days. Here's how you make this mix: make a strong potion of water and barley, and with half a cup of this mix, at a warm temperature, you add it to a half cup of milk. Sweeten it with honey. Following this, there has to be soft diet, starting the first days with barley and oat flakes, honey and white cheese. You can also make and administer a syrup of the rose petals.
