Naturally Treating Arthritis for Cats and Dogs
This grievance which was once very rare in dogs has become generalized. The joints tend to form knots and if it is very hard for the animal to walk. Animals, and in this case dogs, acquire this affliction when they are brought up in humid, sunless places, and when they are not given enough physical exercise. However, the main factor is a diet which is too acid.
Treatment: internally medicate your animal with a potion of rosemary; also administer raw, finely chopped parsley and comfrey mixed into their meat. As an external ointment, you can administer some massages with a notion based on four tablespoons of olive oil and one tablespoon of toadflax, and add half a teaspoon of eucalyptus oil. Sunflower oil is also very beneficial; you can use it instead of toadflax. If you don't have all of those other things, you can use Vick's Vapo-Rub.
