Naturally Treating Anal Gland Disorders for Cats and Dogs
Dogs rarely suffer from internal hemorrhages although they do frequently suffer from a kind of external hemorrhoids known as anal gland affliction. In this case, the anus swells up and becomes surrounded by many little bumps that expel blood when they are pressed on. There are also cases of hemorrhoids. Patients of such grievances are generally house animals which are overfed. This affliction would not occur if dogs were fed on a natural diet which always includes sufficient fiber.
Treatment: Make an infusion based on soaked Fenugreek seeds (Annual herb or southern Europe and eastern Asia having off-white flowers and aromatic seeds used medicinally and in curry) or basil (Any of several Old World tropical aromatic annual or perennial herbs of the genus Ocimum). Administer two tablespoons or more for 24 hours and after that administer it in its liquid form.
