Giving Roots and Tubers to your dog
Turnip, foxtail millet, sweet potato, yam, Jerusalem artichoke. They are all very the trenches and rich in minerals and vitamins. They must be baked or cut into slices in order to be quickly cooked in very little water, not very hot, with salt. The best thing to do is make them in the form of puree and mix them with cereal. Foxtail millet and turn its, boiled and while still hot place on the rag, constitute an excellent cataplasm to cure swollen sexual organs and pus-infected pimples. I don't use regular potato because it is too watery for a canine diet and it also produces gases.
Carrots. Rich in vitamins and minerals, it constitutes, if it comes from a biological cultivation, on excellent additional food which you can use with your cereals for canine use; it purifies the blood and is vermifuge. It is prepared in the same way that you prepare other root vegetables. You can also serve it somewhat raw, finely chopped or grated. It is the way in which the carrot presumably expels worms. It helps in the formation of enamel of the teeth and is a very good visual tonic. Scrape the carrot very well, sprinkle some salt, and keep it that way for many hours and later rinse it off. This is a preventive preparation against trematode parasites that can attack the liver and kill the animal.
