Giving Oatmeal to your dog
In flakes and packed, oatmeal is of vital food for dollars. It is rich in iron; oat flakes also clean the intestines from any impurities. It has been proven that it is a basic food of breeders, both male and female. The famous colonies of Scotland and other mountainous regions of Great Britain have been raised with oat porridge. These dogs are famous for their vigor and resistance to cold and humidity. The Border collie belongs to one of the few autochthonous breeds which hasn't been denaturalized by man, and its health state can make most autochthonous breeds raised by man with bad food diets for generations.
Old flakes that are sold in stores have been precooked in the process of fabrication. Don't cook them again, just put them to soak in cold water during the night; you can use watery, cold milk or old vegetable soup, not meat (grated nettle and carrots are excellent for this, as well as potato peels and green beans), adding a dab of salt. Oatmeal milk is an excellent drink in case of sickness. Simply for approximately 1 L of hot milk (not voiding) on top of a handful of oat flakes, and let it soak during the whole night. You will then extract the melt by squeezing the flakes. Reheat this only until it is warm, and add a pinch of salt and a spoon of honey or syrup.
