Giving Coconut to your Dog
Here is another in ports and food that comes from nature which I promote for both cats and dogs, and which luckily they love. Egg white and coconut are the two foods that provided on important substance, albumin (a simple water-soluble protein found in many animal tissues and liquids) which is very good for the formation of red blood cells.
The coconut is rich in digestible oils and it also provides the fiber that is distributed throughout the body, along the way removing any worm egg. You should give it to your dog as is, adding it to cereals, without mixing it in to commercialize foods, as it can go rancid very quickly and it could ruin other foods. Luckily, like the carob bean, coconut is rarely sprayed it with chemical products because its hard shall resists the attack of insects.
That suggested dose of coconut for a middle sized dog is 1 teaspoon three or four days a week. If you are feeding a cat you must give her a little less.
