Cats Resting Place
Every home cat should have his own special resting place, preferably in the quietest part of the house, where he can go to rest whenever he wants to and sleep whenever he needs to. I harp on the importance of it being quiet, why? Because their hearing system is extremely sensitive, almost as sensitive as an owl's or hawk's. Try to have a box or basket, lined with soft cushioning and place it in a quiet and slightly eliminated place, so that this way they cat can have his tiger's den. I personally prefer the box to the basket because the latter is usually home to the resistant parasite, cat flea. The tiny black flea is much more difficult to control than the dog flea, which is a bit bigger and brown fly: besides it's usually the cat flea that is more likely to bite humans, and is very difficult to get rid of it once it has invaded your house. Therefore, try to keep the fleas under control.
Cats really like the herb Nepeta, from the mint family. Can't choose as planned and also likes to roll around it. The cat proves to have a good taste when choosing that herb because it contains natural medicine and a powerful tonic and one of the most known remedies against diabetes, both in its cure and prevention.
The cat doesn't only roll around in this herb for pleasure; it also helps the cat camouflage. The strong aroma of the Nepeta camouflage is a strong corporal smell of the cat so that the prey will not know that it is being stalked.
Like all big felines, cats love bathing in the sun. Therefore, let your cat have as much access to the sun as is possible.
Remember that any person that has and loves cats must make sure that they can serve hard to know that "bravery" by letting them enjoy some of their deserved freedom: freedom to run around in search for prey; freedom to cross and create a family; freedom to get to know the night, which is the moment in which cats are in their full senses.
