Afternoon Meal for Puppies

THIRD MEAL: 4 o'clock in the afternoon (for puppies up to 4 months)
Meat: approximately 50 g, raw, in chunks (cow meat or lamb chest). You can use the lamb bones because they are tender. The meat must never be given ground as the strong muscles of the stomach of the puppy need to be used to digest the meat; after the puppy is 10 weeks old, the meat has to be given in pieces of around the size of a peanut until you get to the size of a hazelnut after the puppy has turned four months old. Raw herring, finely chopped, and sprinkled with old flakes, can be given to the puppy once or twice a week in order to vary the meat diet. Immerse the fish in boiling water for a few seconds before cutting it; this will soften it. You can also give rabbit meat; dogs love it. If It is not fresh, then you must also pass it through boiling water to soften it.
