As a pet counselor I am happy that online pet medication has never been easier to find. Of course you should only get over the counter prescription medication for your pet online. Something else that I often counsel people about is the pros and cons of pets living outdoors. There are quite a few different breeds of dog that do good living outdoors; there are other dogs that are able to live outdoors providing they get adequate housing and care. If you intended to have your dog live outside the house, make sure that it has first and foremost a proper house and/or dog kennel to live in. What is considered adequate varies from dog breed to dog breed and from situation to situation. It is impossible to completely generalize and say that all of one breed can live outside with a dog kennel. But there are a number of basics that all dogs need regardless of where they live or their breed. The first and foremost is a safe environment to in which to live eat and sleep, be it inside of your house, within a fenced yard or a dog kennel. If you choose to put your dog in a kennel they should also have dog house. This house should be raised off of the ground by at least an inch and be large enough for your dog to turn around in comfortably and easily. It is best to put bedding such as hay or clean towels during cold weather. Water is something your dog should always have access to as well, and this must be constantly changed.

Some experts say that leaving a dog outside for too long can have a negative effect on some of his performance. Dogs naturally want to be with their family and making your dog stay outside can seem like a punishment to them.
