Training a Puppy for Hunting

Be patient and remember that every puppy learns at a different pace. Training a puppy to do his needs in the appropriate place is mostly up to the owner and most if it depends on the owner's patience and capability to teach the puppy. Make sure to treat your puppy very gently and to speak smoothly and softly, but to give clear and simple orders. Never, under any circumstances punish your dog by using physical force. Most puppies only need to hear a different tone of voice to realize they have done something they weren't supposed to. Your voice can be considered one of the best resources to teaching the puppy by teaching him to adapt to certain limitations. This does not mean though that you should yell at the puppy. Sometimes our own ignorance makes us lose the sense of need and significance of how important discipline is starting from the very first day our puppy comes into our home. One way to understand it is by imagining, not as a rational being that goes around following favorable conditions, but by understanding the importance the puppy and its presence has next to man in the future. Amongst the acquired decisions, is the commitment to strengthen the discipline program by together evaluating the objectives we are rooting for once this little puppy turns into an adult. At the same time, we have the responsibility to symbolize with our support and commitment, the well being of this little fellow. Whenever you need to stop the puppy or correct him for something, you must only respond by saying "No, no, no", indicating what it is he has done wrong, but never punish him physically. One of the most important things all puppy and dog owners need to learn is patience. You can't expect your puppy to immediately understand to behave correctly or understand when you punish him. Remember that your puppy's mind is not fully developed yet causing him to easily forget which is why he repeats his mistake over and over again. A puppy's comprehension capability is limited and therefore consistent stimulation is needed to maintain his attention.
