Young, Adult & Old or Older Dog Training in/out House

Playing after each class hour: Early education of the dog, like being clean, responding to its name or accepting the collar and leash already started when it was a pup. The basic training lasts another 3 to 4 months, during which the dog gets to familiarize himself with the important orders. To teach the adult fog we need the incentive of games and toys, as well as the rewards after each success. Orders like "come", "sit", or "lay" are accepted immediately if you motivate him with his favorite toy (or candy): the dog sees the reward in your hand, but won't receive it until it finishes the exercise. A short game between lessons eliminates the tension and makes the dog realize that it's worth his cooperation in collective games.Important house tip: It's not advised to play before training, because that will distract and tire him off. The dog must distinguish between games and teachings, toys, except for the reward, must not be visible.

Adult Dogs

Persuade them to keep playing: When the relationship between man and animal is clear, all dog wants to please his owner, the leader of the pack. But dogs are lazy by nature, so reaching the goal with a minimum of effort would suppose a saving in strength and, sometimes of time. A family dog doesn't turn rebellious in the course of a couple years, more like he obeys reluctantly or plays that he doesn't understand. Its time to go over the training course! What is so easy with the young dogs, the enthusiasm and curiousness they have within them, it turns into hard work with the adults. Games are the remedies for the motivation. And after so many years, the site knows about the games that work best.

Old or Older Dogs

The game keeps them younger longer: It's evident that the training of dogs older than 8 years of age is not a priority, though precisely these are the dogs that should obey a basic command with out protest -especially males-, since with age, they are the ones who tend to get stubborn and intolerable with the world that surrounds them. Maybe that way they try to hide aging sings. With games that will ensure success to the aged, you may stabilize their confidence in them selves once more. Praises, rewards, and petting are the elixir to the life of an aging dog, the same with the puppies.

Important: Reduce the normal length of games and put easy tasks to achieve.

How to enjoy more with the game: - Playing after eating is prohibited! That goes specifically to the puppies (rest faze) and to the bigger dogs (mortal danger of twisting their stomach)

  • -Don't tolerate dog defending his toy. Make him accept that all toys are from the master.
  • - Don't give your dog too many things to play with. I'm sure that he already has his favorite toy.
  • - Many dogs like noisy toys (ideal for a reward) but think if you're going to be able to take so much noise.
