Certainly, there is no reason for not inoculating a dog, arguing that vaccines are not effective. Companies invest great amounts of money in investigation and developing dog's vaccines, testing their efficiency. It's known that several vaccines, notably corticosteroids, paralyze the immunity reaction of the body. When the dog is receiving these treatments, inoculations are not recommended. Likewise, if your female dog is pregnant, she must not be inoculated with living bacteria, it could damage the puppies. Also an old dog has less possibility to produce antibodies, and therefore, regular inoculations have a major importance in the final days of his life.
