Why do dogs run away?

Normally we're used to calling our dog, putting the leash on him and taking him back home after an outing. It's no wonder your dog wants to stay outside and doesn't obey your command at coming back when you call. There is a difference between a dog who has been trained and one who hasn't. Untrained dogs base their views on the perception of who controls whatever it is that he may desire a kennel or house. Dogs go for things that benefit them, so the goal is to having a dog that wants to come to you when you call is to make it worthwhile for him, regardless of any other distraction. The owners of trained dogs hold the solution to everything a dog wants, and their dogs know that they must obey in order to get what they want.
