Surely, the long hair breeds like the Afghan, need more maintenance and attention because of their long hair. This is not only related to the brushing but also to the drying of their hair. Some light color dogs may demand regular washing around their eyes because of some fluids they produce that can affect their hair. Apart from their hair, some smaller dogs could be very demanding and willful with their food, needing other kind of attentions, and becoming a problem for their owners.
