  1. Locate the point where the blood is emanating from
  2. If it comes from an extremity or from the tail, apply a tourniquet
  3. If it comes from the base of the neck or armpits, apply immediate pressure on the dog wounds

  4. If it comes from the ear area, apply occlusive bandage
  5. It comes from any other part of the body, apply pressure on the wound with gauze or any other fabric except cotton
  6. Under all circumstances, make sure that a shock state doesn't follow the hemorrhage
  7. Get your animal as soon as possible to an emergency veterinarian clinic
