West Highland White Terrier puppy dog breed & Race Information
The West Highland White Terrier is tiny dog breed is nice and lovely, and is known as "Westie". Against what people tend to think this is a country dog. Westies are valued as companion dogs because of their liveliness and cheerfulness. They are from Scotland, and are a white variety of the Cairn Terrier dogs. According to the legend, this breed was valued by Malcolm of Poltaloch when he killed one by accident when hunting. He swore he would only use this variety for hunting from that day.
Character of the West Highland White Terrier Dog: Sturdy, tough and capable of walking many kilometers. these dogs have a wonderful time I the country. They are enthusiastic and independent. Westies are daring, cheerful and were born for hunting. They adapt easily to city life and flats, but would as well appreciate a yard or a small garden.
