The West Highland White Terrier is a small dog with an irresistible charm.
Height, weight: 28 cm high; from 8 to 10 kg of weight. Compact body.
Fur, color: hard overcoat and dense undercoat. Pure white without yellowish tones.
A West Highland White Terrier is Appropriate for: who looks for a nice and small dog, and are in conditions to dedicate a lot of time.

As a member of the family: happy, friend of children, true companion. Doesn't bark too much. Excellent guard with amazingly strong teeth.
Breed's character: very sure of itself in front of other dogs. Strong, powerful and upright. The West Highland Terrier was bred in the middle of the XIX century as a white burrow dog to difference it from hunters.
Common sicknesses: hip disorders during youth (Perth's Disease), pruritus and dermatitis like allergic reactions.
