Ingredients 6 tablespoons non salted butter 4 cups mushrooms, sliced 2 tablespoons flour 2 cups milk 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoons mustard Salt Ground black pepper 2 cups ham, diced and cooked 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese 3 cups corn kibble (see directions for preparation) In a frying pan melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add in the mushrooms and cook, browning slightly. Reserve on the side. Use a big pot and melt the rest of the butter over medium heat. Add in the flour and cook for about 3 minutes, constantly stirring. Flour should be lightly golden. Whisk milk into the flour slowly. When the sauce begins to thicken, add in the Worcestershire sauce, the mustard, and salt and pepper to taste. If sauce is too thick add in more milk. Stir in the ham and mushrooms into the sauce. Add in 1 cup of the cheese and mix it until combined well. Put some corn kibble in your dog's bowl and put the cheese mixture over it. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Makes 2 kilos approximately. |
