Enunciate Dog Command Effectively

A verbal command should always be clear and concise. When labeling a command the tone of your voice is important but more important is that you say the command in a level voice (not shouting) and always preface the command with your dogs name. Your dogs name and the command should sound like one word. The only exception is when using the command "Stay." This should be used on its own to avoid confusing the dog. Never repeat a verbal command twice.
