Knowledge Acquired by Puppies
The Learning Puppy

The puppy's nervous system has an anatomical base, but is also influenced by the external media. A puppy that is raised in a closed room will not have a successful development of the nervous system.
The Exploratory Behavior of puppies: It is thanks to exploration that the puppy knows the world that surrounds it. The puppy smells, walks, sees: it has everything that it needs to become an explorer. The puppy increases its radius of action. It sees an object, gets closer to it, and looks around, bites and grinds. If the puppy does this it is almost for sure that the animal is balanced. Since the five weeks the puppy gets an object and owns it, it will defend it placing its paw on top and growling if someone comes close to take it away.

The Importance of Stimuli in dogs: Stimuli are agents that provoke an answer or a determined type of activity in a cell, tissue or any other structure that is sensitive to such stimuli; like for example the light, sound, petting, etc. The threshold from which these answers generate has pretty much everything to do with the development of the puppy. The lack of stimuli can cause behavioral imbalance. If there was an excess, behavioral abnormalities would show. The puppy has to learn to adapt its answers in function of the stimuli, so that it will bark when there is intense noise, but not when it hears a familiar sound. In this sense the owner must observe the different reactions that the puppy has to different stimuli in the new environment. It is evident that a puppy that was raised in the fields does not have any need to recognize the horn of a car. The stimuli depend on where the anim

al lives, but be careful that there are different types of stimuli if you want your dog to be able to live in different places.

The Dog's Inhibition of Biting: It is an example of the knowledge that the puppy has obtained thanks to the relationships that it has had. A balanced puppy will adapt its physical answer to a determined situation; this way the dog learns to control its teeth between the fourth and fifth weeks. The dogs that bite are the ones that have not acquired this self-control.

The Dog's Impregnation Period: The puppy learns to recognize other members of its species really fast. This period is known as the impregnation period. The puppy assimilates the animal that is taking care of it. If it is the mother it assimilates her, and if it is a human it does the same. Even though at the beginning it may seem fun, it ends up creating upheavals in the puppy's behavior. If this is the case, the puppy will end up being indifferent about members of his same species. When it becomes an adult, the puppy will ignore other dogs in reference to its sexuality. If it was the case of a female dog that gives birth, she would be indifferent about the puppies. That is the importance of a successful impregnation, and that the owner knows how to act his role out in the case that the puppies are orphans.
