Belgian Shepherd Dog Breed

Under this name four different kinds of dogs are grouped. The Malines is the only with smooth hair. The Groenendael is totally black. The Laeken shepherd and the Tervueren are alike to the Groenendael, but the Laeken has a rough and predominant cinnamon colored hair, while the Tervueren is not as black as the Groenendael. He Belgian shepherd has been used as shepherd and guardian. Has a very vigilant conduct, and is generally very sensible to training. Appropriated for those liking obedient dogs.
