Terrier
Ingredients
115 grams boneless, skinless turkey, cut into small pieces
¼ cup half and half
2 tablespoons finely chopped baby cabbage
¼ cup bread crumbs
Salt
Ground black pepper
1 ½ tablespoons oil
½ tablespoon non salted butter
¼ cup chicken stock (see directions for preparation)
½ tablespoon parsley, chopped
Bread, sliced
Put the turkey into the blender or food processor andadd in 1 – 2 tablespoons of the half and half. Blend or process until the turkey is chopped coarsely. Add in more half and half as needed. Make sure that the mixture is thick though. When this is done put the turkey in a separate mixing bowl. Add in the baby cabbage, bread crumbs, the rest of the half and half, salt and pepper to taste. Mix this well. Shape the mixture into 2 patties.
Heat some oil in a frying pan over medium heat and put the turkey patties in and let them cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until you see that the patties are cooked all the way through.
While that is cooking, in a small pot heat up the rest of the oil, the butter, chicken stock, and the parsley over medium heat. Wait for the butter to melt. Put a slice of bread in the dog's bowl and put a turkey burger on top of the bread then, pour the sauce all over it.
Makes 2 turkey burgers.
