Taking Care of your Dog's Eyes

Taking Care of your Dog's Eyes

A dog's eyesight is not as keen as his sense of smell. When the animal goes getting older, his vision begins to worsen and cataracts start to appear. This disease, nowadays, can be treated and cured, but, because dogs can't wear lenses, your dog's eyesight will always be weak.

Conjunctivitis is another frequent eye disease. If your dog contracts conjunctivitis, you have to clean his eyes with dry cotton. If the disease persists, take him to the veterinarian, who will prescribe the indicated treatment.
