Symptom of Canine Distemper Virus
Canine distemper is a viral and a highly contagious infection that can present itself in three ways: canine distemper with diarrhea, pulmonary distemper with pneumonia and nerve distemper with paralysis. The symptom of canine distemper usually begin with a high fever and drowsiness, diarrhea, a cough, and teary eyes. In more advanced cases, convulsions and many times causes death. Canine distemper is the most serious virus presently facing the canine population. This highly contagious illness is usually fatal for puppies and young dogs. Even if your puppy doesn't succumb to this disease he will most likely suffer permanent neurological damage.
