Stuffed hot dog recipe for Dogs
Ingredients
4 strips bacon
½ cup chopped baby cabbage
2 cups mashed potatoes
Salt
Ground black pepper
6 hot dogs, split longwise
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Preheat the oven to 175 C.
Fry the bacon until crisp over medium heat in a frying pan. Once done, drain the bacon on a paper towel and then crush it. Put the baby cabbage in the frying pan and cook until the baby cabbage are soft and translucent. Take the baby cabbage off the frying pan and put them in a mixing bowl. Add the crumbled bacon, the mashed potatoes, and salt and pepper to taste, mixing well.
Fill the hotdogs with the potato mix. Put these on a baking dish and sprinkle the tops with some grated cheddar cheese. Bake for about 25 minutes. Let cool before serving. Serve in chopped pieces.
Makes about 6 cups.
