Control & Stop Dog from Begging

If you are one of those people who just cannot resist feeding your dog at meal times, it's not wonder your dog begs! If you are determined to break this bad habit, it can be done although it may be tough. Dogs are not able to differentiate the difference between what they are allowed to eat and not, in other words, if you're used to giving your some of your steak during dinner, don't be surprised if he snatches it from one of your guests you have invited over for dinner. Feeding him your food can actually be harmful to your dog, so it certainly is not recommendable. One way to combat this begging problem is by taking him out of the room at meal times. Don't let him see you while you are eating. Give him something during this time to distract him like a toy. You will have to ignore his whining and crying if this happens.
