Staffordshire Terrier Dog Breed Information
The English kennel Club took recognition of the Staffordshire Terrier Dog breed in 1935.
Height, weight: from 35 to 40 cm high. The weight should be more or less according to the exemplary ( around 11 to 17 kg).
Fur, color: short, fine and straight.
Appropriate for: active young people, those who love sports and for people with experience.
Not Appropriate for: people who are inexperienced with the treating of dogs, and for those who don't have much time and space.
As a member of the family: very faithful and affectionate with its owner and family. Even though, its temperament is reliable, you shouldn't take your eyes off him when together with other of its kind. Does not require other specific taking care.
Breed's character: persistent, indomitably courageous and very active. Intelligent, affectionate and bold.
Common sicknesses: sick diseases, in rare occasions.
Life expectancy: up to 12 years.
