Dog Breed Information

A Spanish water dog, happy and able to fulfill various functions.

Height, weight: from 40 to 50 cm high. Weighs between 12 and 20 kg.

Fur, color: curly, wavy if cut, and falls swiftly if long. Its color is white, black or brown, with different tones. It can also be bicolor: white and black, or white and brown.

Appropriate for: all kinds of people. Solitaries, families, that live in the countryside or in the city

Not Appropriate for: those who want a very small and quiet dog.
As a member of the family: the family with which it resides will be its passion. It doesn't take interest in other dogs and doesn't require much care. Taking well care of its own hygiene, it'll be an ideal companion. It doesn't loose its hair.

Breed's character: affectionate, sociable and intelligent. Very easy to educate and train it for many things.

Common sicknesses: otitis.

Life expectancy: up to 11 years, or more.
