Why is it that pedigree show dogs almost always have aristocratic type names? I think that this Show Dog Name trend is more prevalent in England and Australia but I have heard some similar names in American dog shows. Of course all pedigree dogs used to belong exclusively to the nobility and aristocracy of European countries and that is what is reflected in their names. Nowadays almost anyone can own a pedigree and I think that this is a good thing although not all would agree with on that point. It isn't necessary to give your show dog a snooty name but I think that people actually like to do it.
