Samoyed Puppy. Samoyed Dog Breed & Race Information
This elegant white Samoyed dog is related to the Spitz Polar. It owns its name to its breeders, the Samoyeds dog, a nomad tribe in the north of Siberia. Due to the hard conditions of life in this place, the Samoyed puppy hardened, body and personality, and does not accept being treated as inferior, but as a partner. Tribes also used Samoyeds' hair to make clothes, form 1890 this dog was used in expeditions around the Artic.
Character of the Samoyed puppy: This dog is very docile, and needs space and activity. Samoyeds fear nothing and no one, and to educate them it is better to try and convince them, not to yell. When pups they're playful, loud and mischievous, a bit stubborn too. Even though this dog is Nordic, hedoesn't tend to escape, but they need exercise and large spacious places. Samoyeds hate being alone.
Characteristics of the Samoyed dogs
- Size: Male: more then 52 cm, female: more than 45 cm
- Weight: Male: 20-30 kg, female: 17-20 kg
- Color: Polar white or biscuit, the ears can be cream, and have highlights on the muzzle and paws.
- Hair: Long, straight and rough. The tail is long, full-haired and rolled over the back.
