Salad with hamburger dressing dog recipe
Weight gaining dogs: Some dogs are more prone to gaining weight. One such dog is the cocker spaniels so don't allow your cocker to indulge in unnecessary amounts of food.
Ingredients
1 cup ground beef
2 cups dog broth (see directions for preparation)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt
Ground black pepper
2 cups small pieces lettuce
2 tablespoons bran
1 cup 1% fat cottage cheese
Put the beef in a frying pan and cook over medium heat, breaking the beef up with a wooden spoon. Drain the finished beef on a paper towel and put it in a bowl and add in the broth, oil, salt, and pepper to taste.
Lay lettuce pieces in dog's bowl and pour the beef dressing over the lettuce and then sprinkle it with brain. Add some cottage cheese into the middle of the salad and serve.
Makes 4 cups salad.
