Saint Bernard Dog Breed Information
A Saint Bernard is a large dog, has a great fascination for children. Is an excellent guardian.
Height, weight: up to 70 cm high; weighs from 70 to 80 kg. Muscular body and powerful head.
Fur, color: semi long, from straight to more or less wavy. Short and thick on dogs with adherent hair. White with red, red with white, the red is in different tones. Its paws, chest, behind and tail are all white.
Appropriate for: people with a lot of space (a country house, for example).
Not Appropriate for: those who don't relate well to big proportions.

Common sicknesses: it is very resistant, but is prone to get skin diseases, narrowing eyes; falling inwards, and hip disorders
Life expectancy: up to 10 years.
