Search and Rescue Dog Training
Dog Rescue groups are made up of breeders, primarily, who volunteer their time to take in dogs in need of a new home. For anyone who search wishing to adopt an older dog, search and rescue dog training provide a vast network of breeders who are familiar with their breed's temperament, size, exercise and grooming requirements, and who can assess the dogs for good health and stable temperament. Many people do not want a puppy and adopting a rescue dog (already housebroken and trained) is an attractive alternative. The cost is nominal. In addition, new owners training must sign a waiver that if for any reason they can no longer keep the dog, it must be returned to the rescue group.
