Removing and Treating Dog Fleas
Both their bites and their walking around the dog's skin provoke great discomfort to the animal, along with intense itching. Besides, they act as transmitters of the Tenia Dipylidium Caninun.
As they make their nest in the cracks of the floor, besides treating your dog, you will have to disinfect the areas where they frequent.
2) Endoparasites (Internal Parasites)
Intestinal Parasites
Anquilostoma: This infection usually comes because of the ingestion of larvae. Puppies ingest them with the colostrums and milk. Another way, although less common, is the invasion through the skin from where they go to the kidney and the lungs. They are also swallowed with the cough, passing to the small intestine.
The appearance of anemia is very characteristic that, in the case of puppies, can be fatal, although the survivors often become immune to the disease. Well-fed adults usually develop the disease in an unnoticeable way, but they act as propagators of the illness.
Strongyloides Stercolaris
A very small, almost transparent nematode, it is located in humans and is sometimes transmitted to dogs. The female of this parasite deposits its eggs in the intestinal mucus, being expelled with the defecation where the larvae are born. They penetrate through the animal's skin, reaching the blood flow, the lungs and the intestine.
