Puppy Eating "Shit" or Excrement

If you live in the country make sure that your puppy does not eat animal excrement, especially in the case of animals that have not had a veterinarian control check up. These feces could belong to sick animals and your puppy runs the risk of getting an internal parasite that affects the puppy's intestines. Make sure to be very careful also that your puppy does not eat the ornamental plants in gardens or balconies. These plants have on many occasions caused little puppies and dogs to become seriously intoxicated. If you notice your puppy or adult dog is acting differently after having eaten certain plants you must take him to the veterinarian.
