Dog Life Stage Free Puppy Training Tip, Puppies & Baby Dogs

Days 0-20 "Vegetative" stage:The puppies' activities are limited to eating, sleeping and very little training yet. Depend totally on the mother, who licks them often; not to clean them, but to stimulate their defecating and urinating reflects. Tip #1, During the first two weeks approximately, they don't see or hear. Their eyes and auditive ducts begin opening around their tenth day, but the puppies can't see or hear until they are around twenty days old.

Logically, what happens around them doesn't affect them at this stage. Its only perception is brought about their sense of smell and the body heat produced by their mother and siblings.

This is the puppy's physical and psychological evolution:

• Day 0 to day 2. Beginning of the bond from the mother to her litter.
• Day 3 to day 15. Tangible orientation, positive poking reflex (to nurse), positive lip reflex.
• Day 0 to day 5. Flexion stage. (Control the flexing muscles).
• Day 5 to day 18. Extension stage. (Control of extending muscles).
• Day 10 to day 16. Opens its eyes, the beginning of the bond from the puppies to their mother.
• Day 16 to day 21. Begin complex vocalizations.
• Day 18 on up. Normalization phase. (Take on a normal tone).
• Day 20 to day 25. Visual orientation.
