Popular Male Dog Names

The name "Spot" has got to be one of the most popular male dog names of all time. I have never heard of anyone using the name "Spot" for a female dog but since the name only refers to a physical characteristic I guess that technically you could also use the name for girl dogs. There are some other names that refer to the physical appearances of dogs that are used almost exclusively for female dogs so I guess it works both ways. But I have a hard time imagining that someone would name his or her male dog "Fluffy."
