Installing the Interior Walls

Interior walls are not a necessary part of the doghouse but if you want it to be insulated you'll have to add them.
I strongly suggest insulating the dog house, since it provides the dog with good temperatures both during the extreme hot months of summer, maintaining a cool interior and supplying warmth during winter.
Since this is a luxury Cedar dog house, minus well go all the way in providing "man's best friend" with the most comfort available. 
While installing the inside panels you'll need a jigsaw; any basic model will do, and you'll them at any hardware store and they inexpensive and practical to have.
Materials:
2 -- 4' x 8' x ½" plywood
Cut:
2 -- 47" (height) x 29" (width) front and back panels
2 -- 32" (height) x 53 ¾" (width) side panels
1. Cut the front and back plywood panels as specified in diagrams 06 & 07.
2. Only mark the roof angle lines on the back panel using the measurements shown in diagram 06. (with a pencil and measuring tape)
A mark needs to be made 9 ¼" down on both the left and right sides of the panel.
Another mark needs to be made 13 ¾" in from the left and right sides of the panel.
Draw a line between the two marks on the left side of the panel, followed by a line between the two marks on the right side of the panel.
These angled lines show the angle of which the roof will follow.
3. The two marks on the top of the panel should be exactly 1 ½" apart if the plywood has been cut correctly.
Draw a line 3 ½" down from the top of the board between the 2 marks. This will create a vertical groove/opening (1½" x 3½") and will be the support for the ridge board to sit .
4. Cut out the layout on the back panel with the jigsaw and place panel against inside edge of back frame. Attach using smaller wood screws (see photo 06A).
5. Repeat steps 2-4 for the front panel.
Please note; a door opening also needs to be cut on the front panel.
