Dog Parasites in Dogs
There are other dog parasite worms that affect dogs, but tend to have a regional distribution, specifically if associated to the wildlife of a concrete area. A dog parasite that looks like a worm, but in fact it is not, its the Linguatula serrata, popular known as tongue worm, it has a vital cycle that requires an intermediary guest, like a rabbit. A dog that eats raw meat of an infected herbivorous, may acquire these mites. They are located in the nasal cavities, causing a continuous sniveling and a weak breathing. The dog can sneeze repeatedly, trying to get rid of the parasites, but these have to be removed by the veterinarian.
