Dog Skin Lesions - Dog Lesion
Dog Skin Lesions or Bone problems in dogs often times have to do with abnormal growth of the bones and articulations during the dog's growing phase and some dogs have problems with arthritis as well (common in older dogs). A lot also has to do with the breed of the dog; bigger breeds are more prone to having hip problems and pain in their bones while they are growing, other common ailments are tumors and broken ligaments, whereas smaller breeds with short legs tend to have less problems with these things. If your dog has a problem with his legs most likely the veterinarian will want to do X-rays on the dogs leg. In most cases the veterinarian needs to administer anesthesia on the dog since it's almost impossible to handle the dog when it has a lesion. The veterinarian will probably also want to take advantage and get some samples which he will then send to the laboratory to get checked.
