Mixed grain dog biscuit recipe

Ingredients
2 cups wheat flour
2 cups cornmeal
1 cup nonfat milk powder
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ cup cold vegetable shortening
2 cups waters
1 cup cooked bulgur
Preparation:
Heat oven to 200 C. and grease a large baking sheet.
Sift flour, cornmeal together with the nonfat milk powder, baking powder andsalt. Slowly add water, stirring with a fork, until mixture becomes soft dough. Mix in bulgur.
Put mixture on floured surface and knead.
Divide dough into four even quarters. Roll one of the quarters into a circle about 1 cm thick. Cut this into 9 wedges with a knife. Put the wedges on the baking sheet. Repeat with the other quarters of dough.
Bake approximately fifteen minutes or until the biscuits are slightly browned.
Makes 36 biscuits.
